Founder - Smt. Deepa Banerjee
(nee Kuldeep Sharma)
The school was founded by Smt. Deepa Banerjee, nee Kuldeep Sharma on 24 April 2001 under the Aegis of Baranagar Domanic Savio Educational Society. Smt. Deepa Banerjee nee Kuldeep Sharma is a secular minded educationalist with significant family background, hailing from undivided Punjab, an elite city of Lahore, and is inspired by her maternal uncle late Dr. Hansraj Sharma-an educationist, freedom fighter and political activist from her childhood. She studied at Loreto, Bowbazar Kolkata after moving from Delhi. Her contribution to education is multi-faceted apart from her catering to children’s from communities irrespective of caste and creed but also those from backward and financial handicapped families. The school is co-educational day school. It has obtained its permanent NOC for affiliation to CISCE on 26th May, 2016 from the Govt. of West Bengal vide memo no 225 SELEERTE. Cell-100/2016 and subsequently school has been granted affiliation from council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, NEW DELHI, for conducting and preparing students for ICSE-Class X examination. The school students have performed creditably well in education debates, dramatics, music and also in sports, which is held with much glamour in the presence of t students, teachers and stalwarts of social standing.
The birth anniversaries of Bhagat Singh, Guru Nanak, Jesus Christ, Netaji Subhas Ch. Bose, Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore and others along with Red letters day are celebrated with due respect. It is worthy of note that deserving students are granted subsidies and support in the form of books study materials by the society and majority of them are Hindi speaking communities and first generation learners in English language. More so apart from the schools internal discipline its teachers go out of the jurisdiction after school hours prove in to the children's well being and there families and earnestly inspired them to inculcate leg in varied from school holds periodic P.T.M.'s.
Smt. Deepa Banerjee is also founder of Holy Christ School at 76/4/1 B.T.Road Kolkata-90, which was established on 24th day of April, 1991, with further expansion at 76/6, B.T.Road, Kolkata-90. The school started with just 33 students and today the school caters to about more than 2500 (approx) students hailing from different corners of the city. The birth of Holy Christ Secondary school, at Dankuni, in the year 2001 is a dream project of her, as due to paucity of space in the heart of city, huge land was not available for establishing an I.C.S.E. School, it is an extension of the mother school. The contribution of Shri Alok Kumar Banerjee, who worked in Senior Managerial post and presently retired from CESC LTD, was unparallel in supporting his wife Smt. Deepa Banerjee in every steps from the very inception.
The management under the dynamic efforts and ambitions of Smt. Deepa Banerjee nee Kuldeep Sharma and Dr. Kaushik Dev Sharma her only son has vision to establish a massive CBSE School at Gaziabad, on outskirts of Delhi-NCR, (National Capital of India). The management has more than 2 acres of land for the upcoming CBSE School under name and style Holy Grace International School.
